Ruby Laughs

I just spent some simple time on the couch with Ruby. We both struggled to get big sistey anr Lucy to bed. Then Ruby and I had some couch time of our own despite the screams of Lucy saying" But I looooooooooooove Ruby and I need her to cuddle with me."Some days it's all about survival of Lucy's love..she's like bam bam from Flintstones. Well Ruby was at church holding her own bottle with auntie Diane and Grandma Pearl. We call her Kiwi because of Uncle John's vision of her when she was born. Everyone of course fawns over miss Ruby. But tonight Ruby and I just made eachother laugh for a long time...she smiles when I kiss her. People tell me she lights up when I'm around. I think we do have this really special bond. Her daddy calls her princess but I call her Ruby Roo! I'm Kanga and She's Roo! She laughs and my heart melts. Is there anything more amazing than your baby's laughter? I'm a comedian and she's my biggest fan ! I Just love this baby girl so so much and her gift to me of just pure joy. Thats all she is. She hardly ever cries..I'm not kidding I mean hardly ever. We can't explain it....she s so calm and sweet all the time Im not lying others can't believe it..she's just so so happy..so mellow..sleeps all night...wakes up and cries a bit to be fed and then happy happy. What did I do to be so blessed? She's just amazing and hitting every milestone and some early like rolling over both ways....you go girl! you go! Yay God!

Transformation

Well one thing I've learned so far is NEVER to listen to Dr's or anyone when it comes to what my child will or won't do .

I prayed she would hit all her milestones early just to show the world who's boss.

The fact that she rolled over at 14 weeks was awesome. Her vision, thyroid, hearing and other things..perfection.

the dr said later she'll go from cooing to using consanants...well she looked up at me the other day and saidMmmmum!

Well my friend Dana said" She said Mom!" Well I say it was the British version but she smiled and did it.

I have to confess Ruby might not give us as many smiles in a day as her sister might have but when she does they literally light up the whole room. She glows and laughs out loud. Who knows what's going on in that pretty head of hers but she is very mellow and a beautiful little girl. People are seeing pics and keep saying her face is changing...being transformed..I do see it but it's hard. I want it all now..the full manifestation..but I know it'shappening. Remind me to write the story of her curved pinky fingers and Janine from the Jungle praying over her.

This baby has had soooooooooo much prayer the thank you's in her book are going to take 19 pages.

Stratergy Prayer for Ruby

This is a prayer I got from my friend Louise who studied genetics. It's a stratergy prayer for Ruby if you care to join us.
I see the miracles happening..Rubys pinky finger used to be curved. This was told to us that was a sign of Down Syndrome babies or kids. I saw it the other day looking straighter...and straighter..there is no other reason for this except God is at work! God is healing! God has healed!

When I was praying for Ruby, I was led to pray that the cells would not copy/replicate the extrachromosomal material from Chromosome 21 when they divide. Also, that the extra genes on the extra chromosomes would not express the proteins that they code for or in other words that the extra material those genes make, would not be made.

It's in the middle where it counts

Today is a Mon like any other day. Ruby is lovely..spitting up her milk but lovely. We have physical therapy today and I'm expecting great comments from the therapist. It's not a life threatening day...just an ordinary day but it's in the rest I have in God that he's doing a might work in her life. That even if I rest..God doesn't. She's being formed, healed and growing in an amazing way.
My friend who is missionary in the jungle in Tai Land said she couldn't sleep for days and she kept getting visions of Ruby being healed. We talked on Skype. When Ruby was seen by a geneticist..she pointed out that Ruby's pinky fingers were curved inward due to DSyndrome. I looked at her fingers the other day...one is straight now and one is almost straight. God reminding me..He's actually doing this...it's in the small miracles we take joy in. WE TRUST that the work is already done in heaven. We enjoy her smiles..she laughs out loud now! She's just....so very very lovely!
